In this poster, they used fear arousing images to frighten the targeted audience, so that they will response and understand the devastating consequences of drink driving. Basically, this image does naturally elicit a gross and sick feeling to the observers, with the intention to tell people that their physical appearance might be destroyed by having this one night of "high". Grotesque pictures are used in such instances to cause fear in hopes of reducing the rate of drinking and driving. In closure, the poster persuades people to save themselves from such regret by not endangering themselves by drinking and driving.
