Belt up" This causes people to feel fear that they are not safe in the backseat. This is further enhanced by the huge catapult ready to launch the guy in the poster. The giant catapult together with the uniqueness of the banner design. This fear arousing banner is also effective as it leads people to a solution - wear seatbeats. Hence, as people experience the fear and feel capable of implementing a solution to avoid the possible consequences as depicted in the banner, it is effective.
