Persuasion- Peta advertisement

This advertisement shows a picture of a human packed as meat which we buy in the supermarket. By depicting flesh in the form of human, it shows how inhumane we are when we eat meat. As animals, in this case are the same as humans- they are living things with emotions The picture invokes negative emotions which results in us feeling guilty of eating meat. When looking at this advertisement, we will ponder for a moment and think if it is right for us to just kill another living thing for the sake of filling up our stomach. It also helps to promote the other alternative of becoming a vegetarian as no animals will need to be sacrificed.
