The picture above can be found on cigarette boxes sold in Singapore. Fear-arousing technique was being used in this picture to allow smokers to realise the effects that smoking have for themselves. Basically, this picture shows the effects of smoking on an unborn child, the child may either be deformed or died due to a miscarriage. This is more likely reaching out to female smokers. With this gore picture attached on every cigarette boxes, it hopes to curb the rising number of smokers.
